ALFA Mars is an international group of scientists, engineers, communicators, and volunteers that share the common goal of finding life on Mars before humans land there.

ALFA - Mars Life Pioneers

ALFA Mars plans to send an instrument to autonomously concentrate and purify genetic polymers, including alien DNA analogs, from the large volumes of Martian water that must be remotely mined before the first crewed mission arrives to Mars.

 

The concentrated genetic polymers will be analyzed on-site using modern analytical instruments.
